Inside Mount

Step 1: Mark the Bracket Locations

1. Before marking bracket locations, ensure that your bracket placement will not interfere with any components inside the headrail.

  • Click here for additional details about minimum depth.

2. Mark approximately 1" from each jamb for bracket location.

3. With a pencil, mark the longer, oblong drill hole locations through the top of the holes of the bracket, 2 holes per bracket.

4. If more than two installation brackets come with your order, space additional bracket(s) evenly between.

Step 2: Install the Brackets

1. Pre-drill screw holes.

  • If installing brackets into wood, use supplied screws.
  • If installing into drywall, use anchors in combination with supplied screws.

2. Screw in brackets at marked locations, 2 screws per bracket.

3. Ensure all brackets are square with each other.

Step 3: Install the Shade

1. Hang the curved front side of the headrail on the front lip of the brackets.

2. Rotate the headrail backwards toward the window until a snapping sound is heard. This will let you know the shade is engaged in the brackets.

3. Repeat for each bracket.

4. Install any included operating handle(s).

Outside Mount

Step 1: Mark the Bracket Locations

IMPORTANT: The brackets must be flush against a flat mounting surface. Do NOT mount brackets on curved molding.

1. Center the shade over the window opening at the desired height.

2. Mark approximately 1 - 2" in from each end of headrail for the installation bracket locations.

3. Use a level to ensure all brackets are aligned.

4. If more than two installation brackets come with your order, space additional bracket(s) evenly between the two end brackets, no more than 30" apart, mark drill hole locations.
