Manufacturer design flaw
I purchased 34 double cell cordless blinds on 5/14/2009. Since then I have sent every single blind back to Levelor multiple times for re-stringing as the internal strings break continuously. This is a manufacturing defect. Also the cordless mechanism in the headrail jams easily which also shortens the life of the strings.

Shades have been creeping up for the past 3 years!
These shades used to be the correct length. I've had them since 2017 and 7 of the 9 shades bought have creeped up. There is now a 2 inch gap at the bottom of all my windows when pulling them down. They used to go down to the window ledge when first installed but now hover in air. Also, 1 set of blinds has a funky manufacturing defect that we didn't notice till after we installed them a year later. Unfortunately, past the time to exchange it for a new one. I paid a small fortune for these to be light blocking and they won't even go down all the way now.

Levolor Designer Textures look great in LR and DR!
I bought the Levolor Custom Accordia cellular shades in "Designer Textures Light Filtering" and "Sand" (cordless, outside mount). I bought four of them to match the front four windows on the downstairs front of my house (dining room and living room). Before ordering, I stressed over the color and the dimensions, and thank goodness I'm thrilled with my decisions. The texture and color go perfectly with the more formal decoration in the rooms, and they let in the right amount of light while providing some privacy. The cordless feature is well-made. (I have cats, and they would play with a cord.) The outside of the shades is a bright white (a little brighter white than I would like, but fine). I had to get the outside mount design, because my window casings are too shallow. But I did not want to cover up my molding with the shades, so I ordered the shades to be narrower, overlapping the molding only slightly. I mounted the shades on the wall above the upper molding, and covered up the upper hardware with a swag drapery. Thankfully I ordered them to be about 6 inches longer than the window, to give me the flexibility to mount them above the window. I would highly recommend ordering them at least 4 inches longer than you think you'll need, just to make sure. You don't have to ever fully extend them. When the shades are extended, the shades sit a bit away from the wall (small gap), which lets out some light, but it doesn't matter in these rooms. This won't happen if you are able to get an inside mount. Looks great!

I can't reach the cord - it's WAY TOO SHORT!
A few snafus. This replacement shade had different brackets than the old one, so we had to rip the old ones out first and screw in the new ones. We were hoping we could just snap in the new shade w/ the old brackets. Nope.
But the real problem is that the shade, which is 78" high / long, only comes with a cord which is about half that length. So, I'm supposed to get a step-stool everytime I want to lift or lower our $400 shade? Why would they not match the cord length to the length of the shade? REALLY?

Works but Cheap Feel
The product--a custom, cordless, filtering cellular shade--arrived promptly and was easy to install in the brackets from a previous shade. The shade works just fine, but it feels cheap compared to a similar Levolor room-darkening shade that we bought ten or so years ago for a window of the same-size in the same room. Maybe it is the use of plastic for its moving parts instead of metal.

Very Nice Upgrade
Bought cellular shades to replace an old pair on our back deck doors that we removed years ago because we didn’t like the cord mechanism, and to replace a cotton curtain in the master bath that we never got around to updating.
The newer cordless shade pull style is much nicer on the pair of doors than corded styles - it just makes mire sense. They work well. And the newer mount is a breeze to install.
The one in the bath is a top-down bottom-up, which is great because it lets in light and allows us to see the sky and trees without sacrificing privacy.
All shades arrived in good condition, cut to the proper size, and with all hardware. I also like how easy it is to pop the shades out of the mount for any cleaning or accès to the doors/windows.

Great Shade
Easy installation. The pull down from the top is perfect for my needs. I suggest using screws for installation other than those provided.

Best Shade Company Around
I will never buy shades except from Levelor! The quality of shades and customer service is top-notch. I recently bought a shade that wasn't as I intended in my order. I contacted Customer Service and they fixed my problem immediately without hesitation or question. I have other Levelor shades that I have purchased for my home. They have all worn well. Our home had some other shade brands when we purchased the home and none of them are the quality of Levelor. Installation is easy. Removing shades for cleaning is simple also.

Exactly what I wanted!
These are high quality shades. We had some Levolor shades in our new home already and needed some additional window coverings for two bedrooms. These were easy to install and make both rooms look so clean and neat. They are just perfect and I am so glad we spent a little extra money for the quality of this brand of blinds. Other brands we looked at were not great quality material. I also loved that I could order samples ahead of time to compare colors and materials--having samples to choose from was well worth the wait.

One of the worst products I've ever bought!
2 bay windows-(2 large blinds and 4 smaller) Al 4 of the 4 smaller blinds go up and come down un-level. I have replaced 2 cords. 1 of the smaller blinds completely unraveled as the thing string inside broke. These blinds have been up less than a year and are a total disaster!

Always a good experience with these shades
We had a full house of Cellular Shades at our previous home and were very happy with them. If something goes wrong or even wears out through use, the company stand by it's product and provides repair or replacement. As a result, we have replaced some other brand of shades with new ones from Levolor at our new house.

We Love it
Thank you so much for carrying a top down cellular shade in our size! It is an ENORMOUS window and we love your shades. It works smoothly and our window looks beautiful with it installed. Finally, I feel like we have privacy, filtered light, and added warmth for our window.

I love my Levelor cellular shades
When we moved, I chose to have Levelor cellular shade installed in every window. It was a substantial investment that was worth every penny. They are so beautiful that we decided not to bother adding curtains to any of the rooms. They keep the sunny rooms from heating up, and they let through just the right amount of light. The cordless option has been easy to use and neat in appearance. When we converted a porch to a mudroom, we ordered more Levelor shades and installed them ourselves.

Dramatic Difference
At first the price of custom cellular shades made me pause. Now that I have installed them there is no doubt in my mind that it was a good decision. The sun streams in my living room windows in the afternoon warming the house. The first shade I installed and pulled down showed me how effective the cellular blinds are, noticeably cooler. Now that all five are installed, the temperature difference is dramatic. They are more effective than the lined drapes that preceded them. Great product.

Pull Strings Need Redesgin
The Accordia cellualr shades from Levolor are quality product and in general I don’t have much to complain about. I got the single cell version in a medium burgundy color and it is dark enough to block morning sunlight well but doesn’t make the room too dark.
The one problem I do have is the pull-strings on both sides of the shades (I have the type that can drop down from the top as well). The strings for bring down the top portion come in 4 strands but they get entangled together right away. Sometimes when I miss a strand by mistake, the shades would come down slanted. On the other side where it is to pull the shades up, there is just one thin string and I worry that it’s going to snap anytime since it’s so thin. I have a 64” wide shades so it’s heavier than the single window type. There is a small plastic knob halfway up where I could grab it and that makes pulling the shades up feel more secure. But it’s too far up and it doesn’t drop down for me to grab it until I have pulled on the thin strings a few times. I wish they would redesign the strings. Too me, that is the weakest element of the shades.

Horrible in Drywall
I'm leaving one star because you can not leave zero stars. If you have a drywall header these brackets are just awful. You have to press so hard you will rip the anchors from the header. There is zero allowance for the unevenness that natural occurs with a texture drywall finish. Since the tolerances are so tight, the blind will not go in.
Redesign this so a quality installation is not dependent on a perfectly flat surface. Words cannot express how bad these are.

13 new shades for the house - all perfect
When we finally decided to update all our blinds, I didn't want to invite a "blind salesperson" into our home just to take measurements and upsell me on expensive shades we didn't need. Instead, I took my own measurements, carefully plugged them into my order, and they all arrived in perfect condition and perfectly sized for our windows. And super easy to install. Just do your homework before ordering. Couldn't be happier with our decision and the overall process.

Required fixing, which I did myself
Both shades had disconnected strings inside the shades. One came broken, the other one I broke while figuring out how to raise and lower the shades. I decided it was easier to learn how to fix the string myself rather than send it back and get replacements. Since then they have worked fine. My kids do touch them and they are not looking as sharp, and I kind of wish I had gotten wood or faux wood, though those would have weighed a lot for my large windows.

Overall good, but problems with one of two shades
Love the ease of operation and the look...great color. Only issue is that one of the shades was perfect, no problem installing. The other one had pull cord issues that delayed install while trying to reattach the stops. The shade also had an issue with the installation bracket, so it had to be adjusted to allow it to seat correctly. Overall, though, we love the shades, I had to just knock off a star since there were some annoyances with one of them.

Nice shades do not buy from Home Depot.
Got the wrong shades and Home Depot offered a $100 credit for an over $1000 order. Not sure if that was Home Depot's return policy or if Levolor would refuse to correct the shades to light filtering. Nice shades, too dark and I'm stuck with them. Wary of Home Depot.

Our fourth room!
In other three, we put up standard top-down shades; here we went with top-down/bottom-up to display stained glass: so shade can cover entire window, just the top or bottom--or center, for that matter. Typically quick to install after short learning curve. One did arrive with defect, but customer service was quick to replace. That's 12 windows for which we now have the Accordia shades: obviously we're very pleased with product and service!

Perfect shades!
I was nervous about ordering custom shades online, but Levolor made the process easy. The final product is beautiful and fits my windows perfectly. These cellular shades give light diffusion as well as privacy; the "top-down" component allows me to open the window for fresh air, again, without sacrificing privacy - PERFECT! The mechanics are smooth and the shades are not heavy like my old faux wood blinds. I love my shades!

So easy it’s silly
I bought my shades from Lowe’s and had them cut to size. I loved them so much that I ordered them for every room. I have the light filtering in both top down and bottom up and the room darkening. I can not say enough about how easy they were to order and to install. Not to mention that they are such high quality and beautiful. Who pays to have window treatments installed when there is a company that makes it so easy?

Quality going down
The new cordless mechanism is hard to adjust to the proper length. The product had gotten so expensive and yet the design is now inferior. And you get exactly the length you order with no buffer whatsoever even though their website says that they make allowance in length. All around a disappointing expensive product. No more.

Good shades but bad quality control
I ordered three shades for our front door that has a large window and two sidelights. I measured and ordered online with the correct dimensions and the company sent me three of the same shades...missing the large one in between! It also took 3 weeks longer than the original estimates ship date and i received the wrong product.
I will say customer service reacted quickly and is rushing the replacement order.

Greatest shades ever
I purchased custom cellular shades about 10 years ago for my second floor in my home. They are still reliable and I haven't had any problems with them. I just renovated my kitchen and decided to purchase Levolor cellular shades again. You can't beat the quality, durability and longevity. Plus they are so easy to install. I don't mind paying more for quality. I wouldn't consider buying any other brand.

Big upgrade
These are the dual cell blackout shades and are excellent quality. Levolor website was easy to navigate, ordering free swatches that I received quickly enabled me to make my final decision and I did not regret it! Installation was very easy, taking me 45 minutes to install 2 blinds. When I awaken in the morning, my bedroom is dark as night. I do have blackout drapes to complete my window treatment.

Overall, nice shades
We have now installed 'Transition' shades on 7 windows in 3 rooms in our home. The Transition line has a 'day' shade and a darker/light blocking shade. We ordered each in a neutral/white day color and a darker color to match the palette in that room. The shades work well and look nice. They were very easy to install. Figuring out how to order them from the site wasn't immediately obvious, but eventually we figured it out. They do take a while to arrive so I advise interested folks to place the order sooner rather than later. My only complaint would be that one of the dark shades isn't quite long enough but it took so long for them to arrive that once they were installed, I didn't have the energy to pack it back up and return it. It works well enough and they look nice in the room. Once we start renovations in other rooms in the house, we will likely continue to use these throughout the house.
