decorative metal traverse

A decorative metal traverse provides the functionality of a traverse rod, with the beauty of a decorative rod. It easily opens and closes draperies with a spring tension cord control which mounts to the wall. Preassembled for center draw, but can be easily converted to one-way draw. The large pole diameter (1-3/8") is proportioned for designer style draperies. Heavy-gauge steel construction resists warping, twisting and sagging. Holds drapery weights up to 1 lb per foot for a one way draw or 1.5 lbs per foot for a center draw.
